Hey Everyone!

We had a great weekend, meeting then surpassing our goal of hitting $200k by the end of Sunday night. That means everyone who pledged $25 or more Fri, Sat & Sunday or who upped their pledge by $10 more is getting a free Deathgasm 2 patch. 

We're currently at 76% with 7 days left and still have some great initiatives planned to hit our goal.  Confidence is high we can do this!

Original Deathgasm Props Sale

We wanted to hold an auction for some original Deathgasm 2 props, but it turns out it was a bit more of a complicated process than we imagined, so we're going to offer them up here as Add-Ons - with a new prop showing up each day at 6pm EST until the end of our campaign. They're one-of-a-kind, so once they're gone they're gone!

The props & dates available are:

TODAY - Dion's D&D DIE - the one stuck up his nose

WEDNESDAY - The ANAL BEADS wielded by Zakk

THURSDAY - The DOUBLE DONG wielded by Brodie

FRIDAY - The REALISTIC COCK that Zakk used to kill Brodie's Uncle

We're hard at work here ensuring we meet our goal in 9 days! And to that end, we're thrilled to announce a New Reward has just been added! Our amazing composer Matt Heafy connected us with his people at Gibson and they've agreed to make us a CUSTOM DEATHGASM 2 EPIPHONE LES PAUL GUITAR!! 

This bad boy is now available as a Reward along with other perks or as an individual Add-On at a reasonably priced $500! This guitar, featuring the teaser art by Matt Ryan Tobin, will ONLY be available here on Kickstarter - so once our campaign ends, your chance to buy one ends.

The image you see is just a mock-up. We're going to refine it a bit to make it even more kick-ass, but it will feature the double zombie finger/tombstone art on the front, and the full poster with tagline and title treatment on the back.

Happy Friday the 13th Everyone!

At the time of this writing, we have 11 days left and we're at $178k. So we want to hit (and hopefully surpass) $200k by the end of this weekend. To encourage this, we're once again offering an awesome patch FOR FREE! All new backers $25 and over, and current Tier 1+ backers who increase their pledge by $10 will be sent this patch for free once we're fully funded. The design of this patch is based on the Deathgasm 2 teaser poster made by Matt Ryan Tobin, and is in a cool tombstone shape.

DEATHGASM ORIGINAL PROPS

Director Jason Howden just made a cool little unboxing video of some of the original props used in Deathgasm. They have been sitting in a box in storage collecting dust since 2014, but now he's going to share them with the world. What does that mean?? Are we implying that there's going to be an auction for them on Raven Banner's store sometime next week? Maybe...

1000 BACKERS! SORT OF...

WOW! We're nearing 1000 backers! We should hopefully pass that mark sometime tomorrow. But what we really want to hit is 1500 before the end of the campaign, so we're cooking up a nice little freebie reward to get us there. More on that in an upcoming update!

Battle of the Bands, Fear Factory & Deathstalker comic!

Hey Everyone!

We're launching a little Battle of the Bands today! 22 underground metal bands have submitted their songs for consideration to be used the the Deathgasm 2 soundtrack. The bands in question are: Kryptik Mutation, Voltstorm, Human Paint, The Craft, Varkt, Suicide Puppets, Downfall of Humanity, Idle Ruin, Asphyxiation Infecta, The Triceratops Experiment, Aahiden, From Those Ashes, Valhalla Calling, Donella Drive, Inner Turmoil, Overt Enemy, Triple Kill, Sinisfear, Bone Storm, Eternal Autumn, & Crème Flesh.

So now director Jason Howden gets to throw on his ear goggles and listen to some face-smashing metal to deem who's worthy enough to appear on film with Brodie & Zakk. Plus the winning band(s) will also get to share space on the vinyl with some big names in metal! Who are the bands that'll be featured in the soundtrack you ask? We're working out all those details now but all we can say is it's going to be fucking EPIC!
