$200k Goal + Friday the 13th Add-On Special
almost 3 years ago – Fri, Oct 13, 2023 at 07:54:56 AM

Happy Friday the 13th Everyone!

At the time of this writing, we have 11 days left and we're at $178k. So we want to hit (and hopefully surpass) $200k by the end of this weekend. To encourage this, we're once again offering an awesome patch FOR FREE! All new backers $25 and over, and current Tier 1+ backers who increase their pledge by $10 will be sent this patch for free once we're fully funded. The design of this patch is based on the Deathgasm 2 teaser poster made by Matt Ryan Tobin, and is in a cool tombstone shape.

POLAROID ADD-ON SALE!

To also help us hit our goal this weekend we've slashed the price of our One-of-a-Kind Polaroid from Set reward. You can now include it as an Add-On for $66 this weekend only! The idea of this reward is simple - you will receive a unique Polaroid Camera still taken behind-the-scenes during the filming of Deathgasm 2 of something interesting - Kim getting ready to wield an axe, James trying on wardrobe, Milo stuffing his face at the craft table while covered in blood, director Jason Howden yelling at someone. Whatever it is, it'll be a moment in time captured on glorious Polaroid film during the filming of the sequel that only you will own and cherish until the end of days. Or until you sell it on eBay. So grab yours today!

THAT'S IT FOR NOW!

Thanks again everyone for your amazing support!

SOUNDTRACK on CD + ORIGINAL DEATHGASM PROPS + NEARING 1000 BACKERS!
almost 3 years ago – Thu, Oct 12, 2023 at 01:33:37 PM

Hey Gang!

Hope everyone is doing great!

By request, we've just added the Soundtrack on CD to our Rewards and Add-Ons. So now you can listen to Matt Heafy's score and the Various Artists that'll be featured in the film on crystal clear mini laser discs!  Have at 'er!

DEATHGASM ORIGINAL PROPS

Director Jason Howden just made a cool little unboxing video of some of the original props used in Deathgasm. They have been sitting in a box in storage collecting dust since 2014, but now he's going to share them with the world. What does that mean?? Are we implying that there's going to be an auction for them on Raven Banner's store sometime next week? Maybe...

1000 BACKERS! SORT OF...

WOW! We're nearing 1000 backers! We should hopefully pass that mark sometime tomorrow. But what we really want to hit is 1500 before the end of the campaign, so we're cooking up a nice little freebie reward to get us there. More on that in an upcoming update!

TALK SOON!

Battle of the Bands, Fear Factory & Deathstalker comic!
about 3 years ago – Tue, Oct 10, 2023 at 11:45:39 AM

Hey Everyone!

We're launching a little Battle of the Bands today! 22 underground metal bands have submitted their songs for consideration to be used the the Deathgasm 2 soundtrack. The bands in question are: Kryptik Mutation, Voltstorm, Human Paint, The Craft, Varkt, Suicide Puppets, Downfall of Humanity, Idle Ruin, Asphyxiation Infecta, The Triceratops Experiment, Aahiden, From Those Ashes, Valhalla Calling, Donella Drive, Inner Turmoil, Overt Enemy, Triple Kill, Sinisfear, Bone Storm, Eternal Autumn, & Crème Flesh.

So now director Jason Howden gets to throw on his ear goggles and listen to some face-smashing metal to deem who's worthy enough to appear on film with Brodie & Zakk. Plus the winning band(s) will also get to share space on the vinyl with some big names in metal! Who are the bands that'll be featured in the soundtrack you ask? We're working out all those details now but all we can say is it's going to be fucking EPIC!

If you know any underground metal bands who want to join the contest, it's not too late! Have them email: [email protected] for details.

Fear Factory

We got a sweet shoutout of support from Dino of Fear Factory yesterday!

Will they appear on the soundtrack for Deathgasm 2??? Possibly, maybe, could be, you'll have to wait and see...
